The islands of Brittany

Ushant Island

The island of Ushant (Ouessant in French), 18 miles (30km) off the coast of Le Conquet, is where you’ll find France’s most westerly point, Pointe de Pern. The island is well known for its lighthouses and treacherous seafaring heritage but especially for its indigenous sheep.

Molene Island

The Molène archipelago, where walking is the best way to get around, is even more rugged. A way-marked trail leads around the island, where you will discover small fields marked out by dry-stone walls

Sein island

Sein island with an elevation of 1.50 m above sea level, Sein island offers open outlooks onto La Chaussée de Sein ( The Sein Causeway). A walk through the charming village wille give its visitors a real change of scenery.
